Hi there,

We offer high quality hosting from $3/GB. MC-Market members can get a 10% lifetime discount with promo code MCM bringing the price down to $2.70/GB. We would also be able to include a free dedicated IP with your order.

You can check out our plans here: https://ramshard.com/minecraft

Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.

Kind regards,
Erik

Hi there,

We use Reliablesite (22 nodes) and OVH(2 nodes). We do not use wholesaleinternet.

Please refrain from spreading false information.

Thanks.

I looked up the IP of one of the servers hosted by you and it came back as a Wholesaleinternet ip

I would suggest that you use OVH, this companies are nothing but overpriced. The only one to be "considered" good from this server companies with a stable host would be Aquatis Hosting. Due to the "dedicated" plans. Klanx

Have you checked peoples offers? Their price is exactly the same as Aquatis. Including us.

I would read through peoples offer before recommending someone.

First of all having a "dedicated" server is much better than the so called "premium" plans. Second of all yes, it might be similar pricing but you cannot compare your hosting to a dedicated one.

You can't compare dedicated servers to shared hosting.

However, read the TITLE. "Best SHARED hosting"
He's not asking for dedicated, so why even come up with it.

Why would someone spend many dollars when they are just starting out or casually hosting? You see my point?

True, When it comes to share hosting it also depends on the "ddos" protection. The hosts that I have listed clearly state the protection they give. Let me rephrase that. "CLEARLY".
While Anvilnode state that they give "DDOS" protection they do not state how much. Most reliable therefore would be Aquatis or OVH for both dedicated and normal plans. Feel free to include DDos protection and then maybe it will turn out for the best.

It only took me exactly 30 seconds to go to Anvilnodes site where I will be greeded with "DDoS Protection"
I get it. You want to help Aquatis and you can recommend them over each and everyone. I know they have a great rep and Klanx seems to be super cool
However,
What brings you to that AnvilNodes DDoS protection is not as good as Aquatis?

I think any host taking their "role" seriously would include enough DDoS Protection to protect a SHARED Minecraft server?

I am not affiliated with AnvilNode.

Giving an exact number to what DDoS protection a certain server has is not that easy unless it's capped. For example: Reliablesite.net offers limited DDoS protection. When you check out, you can select the level of DDoS protection you want. The more you pay, the more you get.

Then you have hosts like OVH. OVH doesn't give an exact number. If you go to their DDoS protection page, they advertise "unlimited". How sketchy does that sound?

The truth is, if you want to advertise a number of traffic DDoS protection, there's so much more to account for: The attack type, volume, strength, etc. So throwing a plain number like 480Gbps of DDoS protection is not really being transparent.

Companies like Phoenixnap openly state their amount. This is because they limit the bandwidth that goes to your server. I'm 100% sure that, if they wanted to, their servers could hold 50Gbps or even 100Gbps DDoS attacks but they have their own reasons to not do that.

My point is that you shouldn't judge a company because they don't have a specific number listed on their website. Besides, most people who DDoS in this industry don't have anything more than a 5Gbps booter (at best) so imo there's not much to worry about.

I know that all our servers are equipped with at least 20Gbps DDoS protection and the newer ones are with OVH (which advertises unlimited). But in all my time of hosting at Anvilnode, I've never had a server being taken down due to a DDoS attack so it's not something that I worry about.

Also, FYI, we have 4 times as much customers as Aquatis has and we have been around for 3 years while Aquatis has been around for less than a year. If I was a potential customer looking for a server, these are the facts I'd be looking at instead of some silly number on the website which states the amount of DDoS protection.
