What text editors do you guys use or prefer for development/programming?
Well you wouldn't use a general text editor for development/programming.

The appropriate terms would be IDE (integrated development environment) or code editor.

I tend to lean towards Notepad++ for general text editing, Notepad for quick notes (Sticky Notes sucks). VSCode is what I use for web development, and sometimes Visual Studio for that too, and I use Visual Studio for my C# development.

With Notepad++ I am working on my configs.
It is very easy to use.

Oh, but I was asking specifically for development.

Never really heard about it until this post, so no. I'll go read up on it and see. What's your opinions on it?
I don't know. Atoms the only editor I've used, so until I try others I guess I can't say much. Thats why opened this thread.

JetBrains is the company. IntelliJ, PyCharm, PhpStorm, DataGrip, etc are the IDE names.

Used to use Atom, changed to VSCode because it just felt better to use. Atom is still great tho :)
