There is no "best camera" for vlogging. Yes, each camera has its own little features, but a big portion of it comes to the accessibility of it. Do you want a mini one you can slip in your pocket? Do you want a big bulky one that would be harder to get to? You can get a really nice camera, for around $500-$600. A camera that is very small, and pocket size is the Cannon G7X. It has a flip screen to see yourself when recording, as well as very high quality. You could get a used one in very good condition off of eBay for only $400. You will not be able to find a camera much better than that with your given budget, with all the features the G7X has to offer. If you want a crazy awesome camera, and decide to boost your budget to $1,000, I recommend the Cannon 7D. I've had experience with many cameras for film making; and if you really break it down with all the features, the G7X is the best bang for your buck.

~I hope this helped some, sorry if it's somewhat confusing, I typed this late at night on my phone.

Good luck getting a camera, if you have any other questions feel free to ask away.

The battery life is semi short on that camera; but shouldn't be an issue if you invest a little more. The camera does shoot very good 1080P videos, and has point and shoot when dealing with pictures. It has a nice wide angle lense, but the downside is that I don't believe it has a flip screen so you can't see what you're recording, as well as no area to plug a microphone in (I think). I still recommend the G7X over this. Invest a couple more hundred and you can get an insanely cheap used price compared to retail price: here.

The camera you showed is okay then. You can vlog with it or whatever. It will do the job and you can possibly buy a new one once you get enough money, although that camera will defenitly get the job done, with a little practice.

Not really, that video gave me a general sense of where to go and I ended up finding a nice starter camera with a lot of equipment at around my budget.
whats your budget?

I'll get back to you on that tomorrow after school. I have to look through my old cameras, can't remember the names. I have one really good one though that was around that price.
