Best way of getting players?

Hello MCM,

What are the best ways to gain players?
We had some payed advertisements, and we gained alot of players
But its too expensive to get it every month, and our player base has reduced by time, to that
pretty much sucks.
So what are the best ways to gain players without spending a shit load of money?

Yea youtubers are allways nice but you would be surprised what a good social media presence can do these days. So get yo butt on Twitter and get interacting!

Make a fun server so the players you get from youtubers will stay. That way, you won't have to advertise every month.

The server clearly had some issues which is why you couldn't retain the playerbase.

Nonetheless, different social media platforms is very good. You can advertise your twitter, advertise on several different forums, make a popular discord etc.

Nonetheless, the easiest way if you have a low budget is youtubers. Easiest way for a high budget is a mixture of youtubers and slots

Yep, we had some host issues, server was down for 2 weeks... But we changed host so everything is all set now^^

We'll you can join convos with people talking about servers and searching for them, host good giveaways on social media, post constant updates and talk to your players, twitter only events ,relatable pots... Etc etc

Hey Celian, I'm in the same boat. And to be up front, I don't know either lol.

To the people saying small youtubers, or that kind of promotion in general - it's fairly difficult. I've been looking for like, almost ANY english speaking YTer/Streamer for a few days on multiple platforms. Emails, twitter @'s, this forum, and more. Still can't find any decently sized promoter that speaks english. Offering money as well too.

Just hard to find 'em.
