Best way to learn how to build?

Title pretty much says it all, I want to get into building it really seems laid back and fun if you're good, what are some ways to get into building?

Learning worldedit is a must, If you want tom make terrain, learn voxelsniper. I'd be happy to teach you, if you'd like. =D

Tutorials, practice, good (non-cancer) plot servers (you can get lots of feedback, and are deterred from undertaking ridiculous projects you'll never finish, at least until you get better.
I never watched a building tutorial through to the end in my life, yet I'm a decent builder, even if I'm too slow to make money with it as efficiently as I do with terra. It's because I spent as much time practicing as others my age spent on LoL.

I've found the plot server on minevast to be tolerable, though the rest of the network is not interesting to me. I know there's better ranked plot servers out there, but all the ones I knew are dead.
Builder's refuge has a plotworld as well, but people might not be immediately interested in giving feedback, since they're working on commissions a lot. Still, once you get better Builder's Refuge is the place to be for solo builders.
