Best ways to advertise your server?

Comment below the best ways to advertise MC servers. I need some tips for where to go.

I'd suggest you go on the Advertisement forum and create a "Requesting" thread, specify the amount you can pay for the youtubers and give all of the information that you can to the public to see. You'll start getting messages and offers if you have a good budget.

Secondly, you can search "Offering" threads on the Advertisement forum and you can find youtubers who are interested in advertising servers.

Watch out for scammers and ask for as much proof as you can get as there are a lot of them on MC-M.

Third, you can go to YouTube and start searching for trending Minecraft youtubers, after you find one in your interest, try finding their Twitter or any contact info you can get. Start talking to them and try figuring out a good price for both of the sides.

Fourth, you can hire an Advertisement manager and he'll do all of that for a % of the payment you pay him.
There are two decent ways to deal with a manager:

1. Get a manager, tell him your budget, tell him how much percent of every payment for youtubers you can give him and if he finds a youtuber and the youtuber needs his payment and is ready to work with the server, tell him to redirect him to you and that you'll send the payment to the youtuber.

2. Get a manager, tell him your budget, send him the amount of money you are interested in putting into the server, tell him that his job is to get youtubers and with that money you sent him, pay them and that he can keep a % of that amount for the management.

There are quite a lot of ways to advertise your own server tbh.

For more traditional methods, you have:
- Find yourself a Youtuber
- Trailer (and get it reposted by more popular MC YouTubers)
- Voting Websites (One of my server's beta maps averaged 200 unique joins while only having 50 players in the discord, no forums, and no trailer)

After, you have other ways of advertising that don't necessarily please the users that get advertised to, but work nonetheless:
- Advertise your discord/server in other discords
- Advertise your server on other well-known servers with the same theme (you can say that they get free staff - which in itself is true because you don't pay to be staff - and when they ask to get it, tell them to apply)

Those are just some of the methods, but with a bit of thinking, I'm sure you can find more efficient ways of advertising.
After that, it's your job to keep them entertained and surprised to keep your playerbase.
