Best Ways to Advertise

Hello,
I am looking for a few ways to advertise a hosting company and a Minecraft server.
If you have any ideas I would appreciate them!

Some people use the clever giveaway advertising strategy. Basically, you make a gif for your company/server that can be added to a signature. Then, people can enter your contest/giveaway by having to include the gif in their signature up until the winner is picked, and they have to comment "done" on your thread. The winner can get like $5-20 depending on how much you want to include in the prize. Up to you, but I saw this as very effective here on the website.
