Best Ways To Promote Yourself

I’m just curious if there is any advice anyone has on promoting yourself. By that I mean, discord server, YouTube channel, minecraft server, etc. is it just doing what you want to do daily? Or for it to go anywhere should I pay for advertising?

Also are there any tips anyone has?

I do Twitch streaming and before I got my job in November I helped people out on the r/twitch Subreddit. Because I helped people I got a lot of follows and constant viewers (how many people generally watch my stream, got up to 100 watchers at one point with no raids/hosts), and also quite a bit of money. At one point I got gifted 25 subs + 50000 (500$) bits in total by the community I had created.

Mine isn't directed to the following you have listed, but talking to people and making communications with other communities have been my strongest suit. Maybe you can channel something like that into what you're wanting to work on.
