I'm glad to see conversation search has been fixed (after being broken for 13 months), but it's limited to only the last 800 conversations.

This is probably a rare case - but I would like to be able to search for something that happened many years ago (to assist someone I did business with then).
What I'm searching for should be available somewhere in my 1931 conversations.

I'm sure there are users with more conversations than that.

I understand not wanting to perform searches on datasets this large for utilization reasons Jayson - so I think it would be nice to have an 'export conversations' feature, to .csv or etc.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

If I remember correctly, the main problem with the original public version of the add-on is that it used too much memory. I presume that would occur for the solution you are suggesting, however, we can potentially instead allow you to specify your own time frame and limit the amount of results.

I imagine the plugin could be modified in such a way that memory wouldn't be a concern (using LIMIT offset, row_count); however, anything that would allow users to search beyond the 800 most-recent conversations would be a win.

At the moment we aren't planning to do any more development for our site until we can migrate to XF2 since we'll have to rewrite everything then. Perhaps once we move to XF2 and have fixed all the bugs that come with that and have more time for some new development we can work on this, but for the moment this isn't something that we can justify the development for.

Denied, thank you for the suggestion.
