Better Headphones

Basically I have found a pair of new Beats Studio 2.0 for the same price as the ATH-m50x however before purchasing I wanted to make sure I got the best headphones. Mostly these will be used for gaming/talking to others via PC but every once and a while I would like to be able to listen to music in public with these. I have seen comparing videos and the ATH seems like they win by a long shot, I was just wondering if anyone has personal experience or know of a headset thats even better around the same price range. Are the beats really that much worse sounding than the ATH's as people say they are or is it just bias opinions?

They are 2 totally different headphones. I have the m50x's, and if you want very clear sounds, go for that, but the bass is pretty bad (cuz studio headphones) If you want good bass and also be a white kid, buy beats

If you don't already have a soundcard you should get one and some $50~ headphones, but if you do have a soundcard already then either of those will be fine, I'd personally go with the m50x's though.
