Better ShoutBox

Today I bring you a suggestion, which I would find very interesting.
It's a better shoutbox (I couldn't find a thread nor add-on for this).
You can activate voice-chat, on shoutbox by the click of a button.

Then you would be able to use your microphone to chat to other users.


*PROS*
-Sometimes chatting in SB is too "Uh", or people are lazy. This would help it
-People would be able to hear other people's voices.


*CONS*
-People would be able to break rules
-It would cost a lot, for something not a lot of users would be able to use

If you got more pros + cons, feel free to tell me them, and I'll add it in

Can't you just use teamspeak?

That's the issue. Most people don't go onto TS.

Hm, maybe add a little thing or symbole in the shoutbox to tell users there is a teamspeak?

People know, but most people are too lazy to go into TS

Might aswell add a button for voice chat, which will open TeamSpeak, but there already is one if you scroll down a bit.

Same reason as Seb1, which is why I agreed with him. I didn't want to post the exact same thing twice. If people don't know about team speak that's honestly their fault for being that unaware. It's on the side of the main page and in the user dropdown menu.

Too much effort for something hardly anyone cares about. There's a reason the TS is used so rarely. Voice chat is something you want control over in sitations like this (so like a skypecall), instead of having random people joining in all the time.

What if I don't want to hear other people's voices?
Nah but people would most likely just yell at eachother and trigger flame wars if it was enabled and as stated above, it'd be too much hassle for very little in return

If you are too lazy to get on teamspeak, you obviously dont want to hold a conversation over voice.

If you did want to, then you tell someone to get on teamspeak with you.[DOUBLEPOST=1460897550][/DOUBLEPOST]Also coding this, where the website gets access to your microphone and speakers without downloading an add-on to your browser...
Then adding 'chat rooms' and everything else like teamspeak... *even though this 'voice shoutbox' wouldn't be anything compared to teamspeak*

Its something that will never be added, as it would be a huge investment to code, and completely worthless.
