Hello! I'm opening a new server soon and we have a custom fork, the fork is 1.12.2 and we've tried reverting the values over to 1.8 in the obsufcated code, we even made 3 modifiers configurable and gravity as well to try to reach a similar to result like practice servers such as mmc and lunar, one of the things i've noticed is that the potions are not as fast, and they basically work different by far.
We need the pots to be able to hit yourself when you throw them forward and run towards them
in minemen for example
pots seem to be much much faster , and it doesn't matter if you're speed 2 or no speed at all when you throw a pot and run towards it , it will hit you. However on our server , regardless of the value if you walk forward and throw the pot, it will hit the ground right after you, if you have speed 1 it will drop the pot just slightly before you and if you have speed 2 its a couple blocks before you. Any idea what I can change to try to reach a similar result? Any help would be appreciated!
NOTE: If you know how we can make this inside a plugin instead, that'd be even better.
