ScalaCube is a huge bait and switch scam, And I have pure proof of how they've scammed me and falsely advertised their services.
My Experience:
So I had this plan of purchasing a rust server and setting it all up on the 12th of January 2021. I firstly looked at some reviews of hosting and Scalacube seemed to be a quite highly rated hosts on trustpilot. I decided to purchase a rust server, 150 slots with an absurd amount of ram an cpu power. I got my details for my server, logged into their control panel and was surprised by the custom control panel rather than the regular TCAdmin panel. So Installed the necessary files using their easy oxide installer. I installed the program and booted up my server as a test and waited. And waited, and waited to no avail the server was still booting up after 20 minutes. I was utterly disgusted and contacted support ( Who keep in mind were supposedly 24/7 round the clock support by the advertising on their website ). They didn't respond quick enough so I jumped to the conclusion I had set the server up wrong. So I decided to reset everything to the default settings and once again I booted up my server, and I waited and waited again. Still with a completely clean install of the dedicated rust server files which they provide I waited almost 17 minutes for my server to start. I eventually said to myself this is ridiculous so I waited for a staff member to respond to my ticket. They responded at 6am the very next day ( I originally posted the ticket the previous day at a reasonable 3pm GMT. ). Heres what they said

So I was obviously like "Oh okay, fair enough" having previously never dealt with using hosting to host Rust servers. I decided to give the server a few days turned on to level out, I restarted it and wallah, nothing, still 16 minute+ boot times. So i decided to turn to a new host to see if maybe if rust servers generally take this long when booting up. I turned my server on with this host and I'd say within 3 minutes it turned on completely with no faults, and running as smooth as ever. So I made a ticket asking for a refund or atleast a refund of days for the days lost waiting for my server to actually be fixed. And guess what reply I got from these thieves.

I have also read from other forums, ( Not sure if I'm allowed to mention them here) that they were approaching server owners asking for them to write a review in exchange for extra days to be added to their subscription. Honest to god I'm so glad I didn't wait any longer and decided to switch host as this hosting provider is an utter scam. I setup my whole rust server on the new hosting provider within 24 hours of first buying it and the first day of having it up boom 90 players smooth running and no faults.
