Hello MCM,
I have been on MCM for a short time, but I have seen a lot of places where I wish I could easily see the current bid (if the author has not updated/posted the current bid). This suggestion would allow for an author to enable/disable a bid counter that makes it easy to see the current bid/bidder from the top of a page.
What I'm suggesting is for a bar (between the reactions bar and the report/quote/reply bar) with 1 button, titled BID, and the current bid/bidder. When a player wants to Bid on an auction, they click the 'BID' button, enter how much they want to bid, and if the bid is higher than the current bid (and meets the minimum bid increment), their name is displayed along with their bid on the bar (users can also select to be anonymous).
When an author creates a forum, if the forum is in 'Minecraft Marketplace' section of MCM, this is automatically turned on and the forum cannot be created unless this feature is turned off or a minimum bid/minimum bid increment is set.
Im exited to see if anyone else thinks this is a good/bad idea, comment bellow what you think!
Based on what the community thinks, I can definitely go into more detail about anything I mentioned. Just ask
Have a nice day,
West_In_Pieces
