I’m an IPhone user myself but Androids big appeal is that there’s far more freedom as to what you can do compared to IOS in terms of what you can put on your device and how you can modify existing apps.

iPhones have an appeal to the sense that they’re very simplistic UI and UX wise, and in places like the US they’re common, making the apple ecosystem a thing (airdropping etc). Imo depends where you are in the world, you’d never catch me paying $2000 upfront for an iPhone

I managed to only pay $400 for my IPhone XS Max when I was switching to Verizon. Normally it costs like $1500 so hell i’ll take what I can get.

I like the technology. I don't think I’ll find myself needing a folding phone though.
It’s a shame that they had the issues they did. I like this video about it.

It’s a very interesting concept but even before these problems became known I was worried it would have screen problems. Just the idea of the screen folding doesn’t sound good in the long run.

I think that as this phone has such a small screen on the front you can't really use it as a one handed device anyway. You would really have it unfolded to use most of the time. I don't think that the foldable phone concept is really that great.

We like it because of the freedom. With that freedom also comes tons of custom launchers, including those that can emulate Apple. So Apple has Apple UI, Android has Android UI, Apple UI, Nova UI, ADW UI, Microsoft UI, etc.

Yeah, although I believe the problem was because of all the spots where debris could get it and mess with the phone. The actual folding of the screen seemed to be figured out.
Huawei also has announced their folding phone so I wonder what that will be like and if the problem with Samsung will make them take even more precautions.
