Hey there!

I'd like to suggest a feature where when typing a new thread, resource, or just any general post, we should be able to CTRL+S to trigger the draft save. I've noticed a few cases where my window is closed mid thread making, and when I come back, some of it will be rolledback as it seems like the Draft saving is quite random. I feel if I had the ability to CTRL+S after typing up a few sentences, etc, I would no longer waste time by re-typing what was lost!

Of course, However,

I find it very difficult to make something like this habit to click, when It's already habit to CTRL+S.

I understand this is probably so minor, nobody really cares, as well as its probably not worth the time, just wanted to see if anybody else agreed.

Thanks Justis

With our autosaving feature I do feel like this isn't necessarily worth the development it'd take considering how much we have to do.

Our autosave and manual saving isn't perfect and I do understand that, I've had a few instances where massive threads I've been writing have completely cleared for me too but adding CTRL+S functionality isn't necessarily the best solution.

Jayson will it set the site on fire if we drop the autosave frequency for drafts from 60 seconds down to 15 or 30?

My man Jayson is never gonna respond is he smh

Nevertheless..

At the moment we aren't planning to do any more development for our site until we can migrate to XF2 since we'll have to rewrite everything then. Perhaps once we move to XF2 and have fixed all the bugs that come with that and have more time for some new development we can work on this, but for the moment this isn't something that we can justify the development for.

Denied, thank you for the suggestion.
