You are a complete idiot, I said it can go down 50% in one day. It's a gamble, what don't you get?

if bitcoin would go down 50% in one day that would signify a crash. that has not happened at all..... that cant happen with a market that big. something major would have to break loose.[DOUBLEPOST=1518990372][/DOUBLEPOST]
look how stable it is!!!!!

Because each coin has a purpose/technology that backs it up.
And how many of them have turned into profitable businesses in the industry they serve?
What gives it a global cap of $500bn if most of it's projects are still simply a whitepaper?

What is stopping something major from happening? Absolutely nothing! Keep gambling.

honestly at this point I give 0 fucks if bitcoin is stable or not, it existed for long enough to prove the interesting values of so-called "blockchain" technology and to spark the crypto race. Whether or not bitcoin dies in obscurity is irrelevant to me, because I KNOW there will eventually be a crypto that's stable enough to be actually useful outside of quick&risky "get-rich-quick" situations.
