Bitcoin Miner

Recently I've been seeing a lot of posts and YouTube videos and reading information on Bitcoin mining. Could anyone with experience direct me to the best and most profitable free and paid Bitcoin miner? I've tried NiceHash however that only projected $2.50 a day. Is that a lot for a day? I'm new to this and all information / help is very appreciated.

NiceHash is good, and its free. The price is only going to go up from $2.50 if you get a better GPU basically, assuming your doing everything correctly. Paid Bitcoin mining, you have to have a fairly high budget to make your money back, without waiting a year or longer. I've seen some people use https://www.genesis-mining.com/ but I am not sure if they are actually good, as I haven't looked into it at all. (If you are looking for a stable living off of Bitcoin mining, unless you have some insane computer farm & a lot of money already its not gonna happen)

Thanks for the response ill check it out. And I'm not looking to make a living I just have a fairly good PC and I don't use it to play games as much as I used to so I was looking for something to make extra money while idling
