So, I have noticed that during the summer months bitcoin rises in value, while in winter months it drops. I am not to invested into bitcoin, however if this trend was to continue year and year again, would it be worth investing into some bitcoin during it's lows in the winter months, and then selling it off during the highs during the summertime?

not worth an investment though, there's always another season on the other side of the world. You can't well predict bitcoin.

Fair point, I had around 300$ in bitcoin when it was around 5k, and I sold it for a 1$ profit because I didn't want to keep up with bitcoin, but after seeing it raise to 10k+ I wished I had saved it. Would it be worth buying it when it's cheap, and just hanging onto it over the course of however long until it's up enough for a reasonable profit to be made? Whether that takes 1 month or 10 years?

If it sees a huge dip in price it's worth buying, but you gotta consider who you are buying from as people charge high % apon low amounts due to demand.

I recommend Coinbase, if you confirm your ID you'll receive up to $50 worth of some coin.
Yea, I have coinbase, and it is what I use.

As an avid investor myself, turning $300 into $5,000, I feel I can answer this thoroughly,

If you're looking to invest, I would really use technical analysis and really look at the charts before investing (blind investments are very risky).

I have been up and down in my portfolio, but as of right now I have all of my holding in Litecoin, especially because of the halving coming up. I believe that longterm, you have nothing to lose, especially if you're going to be holding for years on end. If you need that money in the short, it might be better you use that money while you can, but if you're able to commit and forget about it for a couple years, you won't regret the decision of locking it up for a while. I am looking at a very big move soon for Litecoin.

In sum, Bitcoin is a great investment right now I believe especially after having a huge correction; I think it's clear skies up to 17,000, which was it's last top from last year if you look on the charts. I believe we'll encounter some resistance upon those levels, and it will have to decide from there, but yeah :p I hope I could help.

i bought bitcoin when it was 16,000$ but i bought 0.14 sold it when bitcoin was valued @ 15,000$ because i saw it hit 20,000$ then it suddenly plummeted and i didn't wanna lose much money from it.

Summary: Don't recommend investing in bitcoin.

Can you explain what this means?
Check out https://www.litecoinblockhalf.com/ ;

should explain the process well[DOUBLEPOST=1563934515][/DOUBLEPOST]
dont invest in btc, you're gonna get fucked, best investments rn (imo) are cyber, chainlink, effect.ai all these 3 cryptos have irl uses and have the most potential, big things are happening with each of them, and they're extremely cheap rn so now would be a good time to look into them
Short term yeah; Bitcoin as of now looks like it's correcting again. ChankLink and these other projects are great.
Alt season is coming to flourition soon as Bitcoin's correction is happening; as long as Bitcoin isn't rocketing up, the alts are going to be relatively green.

HOWEVER,

If bitcoin does go crazy sky high, the alts are going to plummet a bit because everyone will take out of their alt investments to get in on the FOMO for Bitcoin;

It's a win win if you are investing for the long term (1 year plus) and you're holding till you're great, and you forget about it

It's not looking good however if you buy bitcoin in the short term as in 1-3 months, and Bitcoin has a even bigger correction at play potentially.

It all really depends on your outlook, but as I look at it, you really only lose money once you sell your assets for USD. You haven't lost money if you keep your money in a certain asset and let it sit there waiting for it to bop back up to where you bought it.

All my insight, there is no wrong investment. Do your research, do your due diligence, and you should be on top!

Good luck everyone with the market; hopefully this explained a bit more in depth what I was saying earlier
