Google will be your friend, I personally recommend getting a mobile wallet so you can also use it easily for irl purchases.

Breadwallet tho I’m probably biased (it’s what I use and so far I haven’t ran into any serious issues)
Okay, do you have any else in mind?

Blockchain is the #1 wallet in my opinion. Customizable fees, mobile app, supports the largest cryptos, very secure. Very easy to use, simple to understand, and great for beginners as well. It has graphs, conversions, and more.
I highly recommend it.

Many, many sites require information such as your Social Security Number, password, or driver license because they have to comply with their country's laws and don't want to get in legal trouble.
I highly recommend buying Bitcoin off of someone here on MC-Market because you need no verification.
If you want to be 100000% safe with your transactions, you can try Paxful, but it has hella high fees and I would rather take the risk. (use middleman!!!)

BitPay is a great mobile wallet and supports numerous cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash. It doesn't require any ID verification and allows you to cash out your coins to a selection of gift cards. It also has a beautiful interface and is by far the most secure out there, with a Windows 10 application as well.

I wouldn't recommend purchasing any coins from the large exchanges as they're legally required to be provided with your ID, so as Demeng stated above, go with a trusted member on a forum like this just to avoid the fees. It's worth the risk if you're not stupid and know what is and isn't a scam.

Good luck. At this current time it's a worthwhile investment but keep in mind it's a highly volatile thing to put your money into, so stay up to date with the crypto trends and make sure you have a plan in case things go sideways and the whole thing crashes.
