Thinking about purchasing their TCP DDoS protection plan for $31/month.

Their reviews seem mixed.. I want to go with a host that has very little DDoS protection, and need something to beef it up. They claim to have 980gbps protection, but obviously that's shared and not guaranteed, contacted customer support and they said anything under 300gbps should be fine with no lag at all.

Any reason I shouldn't go with them? If not, any other suggestions for under $50 monthly?

Most people won't even see a 1Gbps DDoS. I don't think you need to worry much if you're running a game server and have 1-30Gbps DDoS protection.

I've never gotten into DDoS and such, but those sites that claim 15 Gbps minimum for $10 a month are false advertisement? It seems like it's easy to get nowadays.

A lot of the time they're oversold like fuck and any proof they give will be a brand new server which hasn't had customers put onto it yet.
