Blue Snowball

I recently purchased a Blue Snowball for gaming, playing with friends, and such. I read this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/letsplay/comments/3a582k/blue_snowball_picking_up_all_my_keyboard_and/.

My question is, how do I get the Unidirectional Cardioid setting? Software? Audacity?

Audacity is good for recording. Software I don't really understand that. However you NEED a mike stand. Like NEED NEED.

If you have the blue snowball ice you can't do that, only the regular snowball has it

You can buy a "pop filter" for a few bucks on Amazon and I heard that makes all the difference.

I've looked into it. I ordered a filter, and a stand. Will see how it goes.

I have 1, it only helps with "popping" sounds, not with the keyboard. A long stand away from your keyboard is recommend and to not use a mechanical keyboard while recording could easily help
