Project Overview: We’re exploring the development of a comprehensive Discord bot similar to Dyno (of course there are many unique ideas to implement), with features like moderation, customizable commands, leveling, and analytics (can be scaled later on to way more features). We are currently in the research and planning phase to determine the resources needed to bring this project to life.
Purpose: This post is intended to gather information on the time and cost estimates required for such a project. Our team is creating a detailed plan to present to potential investors, and we’d like to understand typical timelines, budget ranges, and expertise requirements for a project of this scale.
Responsibilities:
Outline a plan for developing core bot functionalities and ensuring scalability through sharding and caching.
Provide insight into the implementation process for API integrations and backend communication.
Estimate the development time needed to achieve a functional MVP with future scalability options.
Requirements:
Strong experience with JavaScript and Discord.js.
Knowledge of sharding, caching, and database integration.
Experience developing or contributing to popular Discord bots is a plus.
