Woke up to this, this morning.
Very pissed off and need to vent.
Only had it a month and some cu*t has gone and done this.
Quote of £370 to repair and my insurance excess is £250 ( I pay enough on insurance as it is).
Dont fancy losing my no claims bonus which I haven't even got yet.
Was gonna get a new graphics card, but I guess I'll have to replace this.

That's shitty bro. Personally, if you're able to cough up the £370, it's worth not claiming on your insurance, as you obviously know.
Hope this never happens to me

Gonna see if the scrap yard has anything cheap.
I personally can't afford that much right now, so its gonna be out of action for a while tbh.
Back to using the train, I guess.
What adds salt to the wound is the fact I need it for several long journeys which will cost ££££££ to take on the train. (uni open days).

Yes.
Great car tbf
cheap insurance, cheap to buy, cheap on fuel.
Slow acceleration but that's it...

Have done, when doing that, lots of the glass fell out.
I don't want to drive it till its fixed. (Not that my mum would let me if I wanted to).

Wasnt saying it was bad tbh , my aunt has the 2015 model and its really small , convinient and econimical (is that how you say it) . Anyway good choice :) . I still have one year and 1 month till I can drive :(

The boot is tiny, can fit 4 adults in it comfortably (all be it cosy) as I don't drive with the seat all the way back. Need to push backpacks in the boot tho, as its so narrow.
It was only £700 with 12 month MOT and 50k on clock. I really don't feel like paying halve the value of the car on a window.

Since the whole window is busted, what about removing all glas and taping the whole thing until you can afford a new one? In that way the glas wont spill all over the place :)

Might do this, but hopefully, I'll be able to find something in scrap or a cheaper quote and get it sorted on the weekend.

Update:
Spoke to my insurance. Windscreens don't count as a claim so won't affect no claims and the price I pay.
Will just need to pay the excess.
