For around the first week, it will hurt a lot to eat any food that is not very soft. After a week or so you should be able to eat some more solid foods.

Not really lol, same estimate, the only way the extend it is if they ,make a misjudgement or in my case have to align my jaw and keep fucking up my springs because I have a habit of yawning alot lol

I can't stand it but as Paradise said, you won't even know you have it after a month. And i personally find it useful to have perfect/straight teeth. Its only 2 years.[DOUBLEPOST=1479961215][/DOUBLEPOST]So just to show everyone an example of the impacted tooth that I was talking about I was able to find a video and this is what they're going to be doing with me. Another reason why I needed braces :3

Eh everything I put up with and it was fine. Geting them off was kinda a bitch litteraly cause she stabbed my lip with something to scrape the final glue off and blood went every where and then my mom freaked out and yea not fun.

I had braces from 7th grade into my freshmen year in high school, I don't remember them being so painful but rather annoying. After having them for a few weeks you sort of just forget that you have them and learn to deal with them. Biggest problem of mine was probably hardly ever using those rubber bands my orthodontist always gave me
