Believe what you want. You shouldn't depreciate someone's work. If you want to make the plugin yourself and sell it for less, then there is nothing stopping you from doing so.
Badger I just want to say that time shouldn't be a factor in pricing at all. If the creator is SKILLED enough to the point that they show the skill directly, then time matters. For example, somebody handing you a stick figure and saying that they worked on it for five hours will not be priced the same as five hours spent on realism portraits.
We can't see the code, so we (skilled programmers) can't assume what the time lapse should be.

Correct, but I would assume they usually base their pricing off how much work went into it. I get your point though.
Again, 50 cents for 1 minute of work... Considering we pay people minimum wage per hour, he's making a lot of money at 50 cents per copy for 1 minute of total work. I don't see why you see a reason to bring up an old thread, in which has no relevancy here.
So you think it's right to sell a plugin with 4 lines of code to people not knowing that, for 50 cents, when any other developer would make the plugin for free, while that other developer makes easy pocket change per copy? You've got to be starting fights on here if you really want to call people out on everything. It's honestly quite annoying coming back to this thread over and over again too.

Mate I have a price set on this plugin. If you don't want to buy It don't come onto my post and discuss the price. I put a lot of work into this plugin. Don't need to argue with everyone in this post. I do program simple plugins for people which take like 5 minutes to make. But anything which involves my time and effort I charge for.
