I was just wondering due to me thinking about starting a server.

What is the recommended amount of money to start a server?

The server is a network that contains a hub, creative, and survival.
Hosting money does not matter as of now since I have enough money for hosting.

Needed
Developers
Managers
Plugins (Premium)
Forums
Advertising
BuyCraft

How much do you think this may cost all together to get the network going good?
Let me know down below.

PebbleHost
High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

It took me initially $50 to start my server but all in all I paid $100. I have gotten $300 in donations so far and get 20 people on at all times. I paid one youtuber but all my advertising was mostly forums. I can help with most stuff, if you want.[DOUBLEPOST=1520734383][/DOUBLEPOST]EDIT: A network will cost about $50-100 per server so there’s that.

But it also depends on certain things, Like game modes, and things that make youre server stand out so people want to play on them.

Alex Miller, The quality is just going be pretty medium, but due to the amount of new gamemodes that may be added. Things might change.

boopnose, That sounds like a good amount. Did you pay any for advertisement or just free advertised?

Nahid, True advertisement is expensive. I think developers may be included also correct?

Chappy6619, It really depends

Developers can be included of course but people tend to go all out custom on any gamemode but I would recommend going with premium plugins and getting HQ configurations and making sure you don't get an abundance of unneeded custom plugins on things that have already been developed a couple times and just focus on ads and uniqueness.
(By developers I'm assuming plugin development)

I've made many mistakes with having all out custom plugins, but thanks for the advice!
