Theme
The theme for this event is Modern Living. Your build should:- Fit within the delimited 75x75 area.
- Be a modern home with completed interiors, decor, and a freshly landscaped front or back yard
Prize Pool
$300 (Sent via Paypal) split among the top three winners:- 1st Place: $150
- 2nd Place: $100
- 3rd Place: $50
Event Structure
This event is SOLO only! Each participant will be given access to a build server with essential tools—BuildersUtilities, Essentials, FAWE, FAVS, GoPaint, and GoBrush, where they will be able to claim a plot and build on it. Starting December 29, 2023, join [IP ADDRESS IN OUR DISCORD] and follow the in-game instructions to claim a plot and build.
Voting
The HYTOPIA Team will judge the competition, but everyone in the HYTOPIA Creator Community is welcome to vote. The community vote is one determining factor of who wins. Voters assign points from 1 to 5 in every category for each model for a total of 20 possible points:- Theme & Originality (5 points):
- How well does the build fit the theme? Is it original?
- Interiors & Details (5 points):
- How detailed is the build? What about its interiors?
- Aesthetic Appeal (5 points):
- How visually appealing is the build? Consider block choice and color schemes.
- Atmosphere & Immersion (5 points):
- How compelling is the environment? Does it narrate a story?
Rules
- Stay within the 75x75 boundary.
- Solo Only: You must build solo—no teaming up with other players.
- Prior work or plagiarized content is prohibited
- Outsourcing is strictly not allowed
- Ensure the content is respectful and free from any offensive elements
