Build ToS

Willing to pay a small fee for your time!
Have had (2) issues so far with old staff members and was wondering if anyone can write up a ToS I can place on my website to prevent future issues with what is listed below.

1. Player asked me to remove builds they built and or had me schematic in while staffing on the server. (These builds are incorporated into the map which makes it difficult for me to remove and replace on the spot.)
2. Player came into server and cut out builds they made. (Did not remove building perms from player due to everything seemed fine beforehand. Yes I learned my lesson.)

What I need in the ToS:

• The ToS is for K-Gaming Network and all servers inside it.
• Builds build and pasted in and or built on server belong to K-Gaming Network
• Something stating that I own the server and everything within it.
• Consequence of removing these builds will lead in a ban/removal.
• Possible to make this ToS affect past and future builds?
• Anything else I forgot that might be useful in the ToS.

So if you steal a build off another server and put it on yours you own it now do you?

This sounds like builders were not happy with how you treated them. Did you hire them for money or other rewards?

The players at hand were not "Builders" simply admins who added small features to the server over the time being here.
Christopher what you said... Just no. I am talking about builds they built off the server and had me paste in after they were finished.

I see. Any idea where they got said builds?
Also, you do realize a ToS won't protect you against griefing in the least, right?
The only thing a ToS really helps in is legal matters, and there's small chance a court will take a minecraft case seriously.
Apart from that its mostly there to inform clients of their rights and obligations. If someone were to break my ToS there'd be shit-all I could do about it apart from publishing/reselling the build they ordered because by breaking it they lose the right to the build. That, and refuse to build for them again.

About where they received these builds, they built them nothing huge small builds.
The ToS is not there to prevent Griefing, and is not here for legal matters. It it simply something I can point to when I am asked to remove a build and or when I have to ban someone who has attempted to remove a build without my permission

If they built them, they're still the builders and my earlier point still stands.

I am not sure what you going with there. Builds built on my server for my server should not have to be removed when the staff member leaves or any player.

They were not builders. If I must explain the issues to them leaving then: 1st Player at hand left after being told they broke a rule I had set for staff. 2nd player was placed in a inactive staff position due to not assisting with the server. (This rank allowed them to move back into a staff role when they were ready to staff again.) Somehow no matter how I explained this to the player they took it as me not wanting them as staff and a easy way to get rid of them. The next night when all staff members were off they came in and cut out the builds they made.

I see, so it was immature staff members/builders (they built stuff for you, therefore they are builders regardless of other roles).

All you really need in your ToS is that staff members may not damage the server or its content in any way, and that doing so will be cause to strip them of their rank and ban them from the server.
