my idea for trees and paths
the live map to see rest of map is livegui.rpgprison.com
in the middle of the thick jungle it would have a path like so

then that path would end up in a 10 break apart intersections to the tree area this area on the map would be like mysterious forest of maybe lost forest and would have sections like this ^
Aclearly visible area with custom tree/mine with the ore roots and custom trees these trees would be clearly not normal the wood could be wooden slabs different types of woods that are not meant to grow together light up in the dark branches/leaves/top area to make it more majestic each tree being cool creative and light up in the dark with custom ways of inserting barely visible light up blocks to make it look epic in the dark since the server goes dark on it's cycle.

but we are still deliberating over mine tree area make-up and looks.
but path from spawn and intersection to tree will be clearly visible at night with a creative custom lighting design that looks cool.
you can see an example at play.rpgprison.com in the north area we have old mining runes you need to rankup first before you can leave spawn but it's free to do that
I am planning on making 40 mines eventually with different look and theme first is just classic mines in a path ... east will have the trees with ore roots that people can mine with pic or chop the regenerating tree down with axe to gather woods.
the work will be considered terraforming than building structures my server is rpg and the mine area is less big mine thatn a cool path with cool custom mines that are different than classic mines in a pit.
To recap:
builders need to do:
1 epic path that splits into 10 sections that lead to a tree/section (like first pic).. tree will be in a area that looks open but is around other trees (like second pic) .. path needs to be well lit but I don't just want people placing torches everywhere and be like there it's lit...boring...
10 trees: each with ore roots and custom wood design and a well lit leaves area that could be leaves glass w/e that looks epic

tree will not be very large in size because people will be mining roots and wood for selling in the shop for cash roughly about 1.250x the size of the trees around the area so roughly 30-35 blocks height.
tree will be for looks obviously and people will barley mine about 10 blocks height if they can get up there.
overall an eye pleasing journey from spawn to all the mines will be needed not just basic path something that looks like it wasn't jumbled together to form a simple path.
and to see type of path the path starts on east exit but there is a full example of a path on the north exit as i'm trying to make different themes per exit north, east, south, west .. so far I've only got north really semi done.
