Building a PC

Basically, got a 1050ti, i wanna make a pc that can stream, because I don't have the best GPU, i can invest in a better CPU and motherboard, as streaming I'm told is very CPU intensive. Nothing crazy, good for editing and gaming fortnite and overwatch. So pretty simple overall, budget if possible! Any recommendations?

For the motherboard u can use a ASUS Strix H270 Gaming and 32/16 ram (64 is a lot and irrelevant)

i5 8600k is faster, has 2 more cores, is cheaper, and does better in benchmarks then a 7700k. I wouldn't even go with intel for a streaming build however, I would recommend a Ryzen 5 2600x because of how many cores/threads it has it's great at playing games/streaming/multitasking all at the same time. 1050ti is a decent card as long as you are willing to turn settings down on some games. If you go with Ryzen make sure to get high clock speed ram (I would say 2600mhz minimum). Motherboard is just preference, any x470 platform will work with Ryzen so just do some research there.

2133mhz ram will "work", but it won't unlock the full capability of a Ryzen chip. You can get an x470 mobo that supports up to 3200mhz for under $150.

I am pretty sure you would be good with an i7-7600k.

There's a quick list, didn't include case as that's your choice. Motherboard/ram is preference I just threw in what I would personally choose. CPU cooler is empty because the 2600 comes with a stock cooler, if you plan to overclock I'd go with the 2600x and a nice air cooler or even an AIO.

It's not necessary, just for people who want to squeeze a little more performance. Wouldn't make a huge difference though.

Put it this way, I'm running a Ryzen 3 1200 , 8gb DDR4 2100MHZ, and a GTX 760ti 2GB, and I'm able to stream lower-intensity games like Minecraft

A 6-8th gen i5 or i7 should be fine as the cpu.
