Fair enough. Typically though Intel is more in terms of money.

You can salvage parts if they all work together. For instance, what case do you have or is it a default Wal-Mart type case? What PSU do you have? You can save the graphics card, but I'd recommend getting another 1060 for SLI.
No idea what a lot of those things are :/[DOUBLEPOST=1535939080][/DOUBLEPOST]I have a 1060 tho

I made a thread on this. But here.

"this exists. https://shadow.tech/usen/ So for $35/month, you can essentially get a $2500 gaming PC. It comes with a GTX 1080, 12GB DDR4 Ram, etc. It's pretty much a cloud service. They also provide 1Gbps of download speed, and 100 mbps of uploading speed. I heard the latency is around 5 or 50 milliseconds. Not sure, though. But It can also be used for rendering, etc. Just wanted to put it out there."

No reason to get 1060 for SLI when most games aren't supporting SLI as of now, he better get a new motherboard, cpu or even upgrade the current one, he didn't give us the current specs though

but the build Cheetah linked is pretty good except changing that HDD to WD Blue and that SSD to not-so-weird brand

Boo, whats your current pc specs?

Here's some stuff you should consider:

CPU > I recommend going with an Intel i5 or higher or an AMD Radeon 2400G.

RAM > 16GB is optimal for gaming, but if you want to be even better, go with 32GB.

GPU > You can definitely go for a 1080 and maybe a TI, although you may have to cut down on some other prices.

Storage > HDD is slower than SSD. Bigger storage also results in faster speeds. Go for 1-2 TB rather than 250 or 500 GB.
what about a ryzen for a cpu
