So this is something I have wanted for some while. PlayerUp.com has a thing called "Middleman" that is implied on website. I am aware that you can do mm with another user but I am proposing a built in system that you can choose to use if you'd like.

What does it do?

Middleman is a way to be in the middle of a deal to make sure everything goes down smoothly. They are there to help any problems that could occur.

What could it solve?

Well with this, you could catch scammers easily because there will be a MM between what's going on so if someone is getting scammed, then they will easily be caught. "Middleman" can be a used thing where the middleman (Who is a staff member on MCM) creates a PM conversation with the Buyer and Seller. Then from there they can see what's happening and help out with any issues.

Order It Follows:

1. Seller makes post on MCM and Creates a "MM Link"
2. The buyer pays the money, which goes to MCM
3. The seller in a PM with Middleman and Buyer, gives login
4. The buyer confirms reception
5. The middleman sends the money to Seller

What is a MM Link?

You click a button on the top of the home page. It sends you to a page that asks for your PayPal email, Amount it's selling for and name. Then this link you put on your post and when people want to buy this they can click on the link. The link corrupts once the deal has gone down.

Is this required?

No you don't need to do this for any reason. It's just a way to try not to get scammed.

If you disagree please explain why

Thanks, Bryce

Couldn't you just say the login didn't work?
Well the thing is, if it didn't they would have to provide proof and a video.

The problem with this is products that can be taken back, can be fake, etc etc.
The only thing this solves is the question of who goes first.
If the buyer receives it but does not confirm reception, you won't get the money, and it will have to be reviewed manually.
Similarly, if the seller provides a product that is not complete, but seems complete, the buyer may confirm reception only to find they've still been scammed.
Theoretically it's a good idea, and for some products it might work, but a site like Sellfy would achieve pretty much the same.

There's a thing called trusted middleman idk if you've ever heard of it.
(examples of sexy middlemen: Seb1, asa and MisfitNerd (just a few I can remember))

I thought it was already easy to catch a scammer? No?

Also, staff can't middleman. just to make things clear.
By that I meant that they could make it a new rank and these staff would Me middleman rank.[DOUBLEPOST=1482511118][/DOUBLEPOST]

Introducing a system like this wouldn't stop scams from happening, it would just make it so you're scamming MC-Market instead. Not only would this potentially be very expensive to develop, but it could very easily lead to thousands of dollars being scammed per month from MC-Market's middleman.

I summed it up pretty well here.

Denied, thanks for your suggestion.
