Bullshit Hosting

i will make this public for the time being. Clovux my servers have been down for almost 24 hours. One server is randomly suspended, even though payment isnt due, and I even paid for it. Bungee seems to be up, the rest dont want to work, ftp is down aswell, some issue with daemon. Created a ticket 11 hours ago, no response. I also have to earn money so that i can keep the server running.

It took wuite a few days to get my last ticket answered, when all i asked for was a couple sql databases.

For backups if you have a decent internet speed, just go buy an external HDD. They’re really cheap and it’s not hard to make backups at all.

It's interesting because when I used to use Clovux they were decent. But apparently not anymore.

I am really sorry to hear that they cannot provide you with your server files. Offshore backups should definitely be a thing, especially when you are handling client files.

Hopefully, they will issue a refund shortly. Best of luck in finding your new host!

May sounds kind of stupid but I think i may stay with them.. I am getting $70 of hosting on which I an spend on advertisment.

Yeah, although it was a shitty af thing to happen they've probably learned from it
