Bungeecord help.

Hello, I'm wanting to allow multiple mc versions to join my bungeecord server. I'm using bungeecord 1.8.8, whenever I add viaversion to the plugin folder it creates an error upon loading the server. Could you please advise if I'm doing something wrong.

ViaVersion isn't a bungeecord plugin, it's a spigot only plugin. When I setup my bungee, I put ViaVersion on the server people were going to connect to(hub/lobby) and that worked.

I have ViaVersion installed on my hub and can connect to it using 1.12.2 with the hub ip. But on the Bungeecord proxy it won't let me as it says "1.8"

Well, another alternative is ProtocolSupport, which is bungeecord compatible.

Delete the ViaVersion from your bungeecord and add it to all the sub-servers.

Your issue is that your bungeecord jar is likely outdated. The latest jar supports 1.8-1.12 and that's what you're looking for. Bungee doesn't support protocol 1.17.10 at this point in time anymore.
