"Business" Accounts

First of all, I don't want "Business" Accounts removed. They are very useful, but shouldn't be called "Business Accounts".

Okay, so what I am proposing today is that we do not call them Business accounts anymore. Something like "Shared Accounts" or "Company Accounts" is more suitable. Also, make a rule that says that "Shared Accounts" must be shared between two or more regular members on MCM.

I say this because:

OUR CURRENT Personal Accounts = Business Accounts
OUR CURRENT Business Accounts = Shared Accounts

I personally use a business account with Chump - Duotopia - so I do find it rather useful.

So what happens to the accounts that people have just to be cool and say they have a "business account" / bought premium on it?

If people bought premium on their "self-business-accounts", they should make a business with someone else and change name and wipe posts and re-utilize it, idk.

Not all the people in a specific company/team would like to create a MCM account just for the sake of complying with that rule (and it might render many usernames useless), -1

Ok, the users of the account don't have to be MCM members - but they must confirm with a staff member that it is two or more than two people using the account.

Business != company
Business is not always multiple people

Business just means the trade of goods or services, and the entity trading them. This could be an individual, just one user, operating an account under another entity's name. Most people on this forum don't qualify to call themselves a company, either, because to be a company you explicitly need to be registered with the inland tax agency.

There's nothing wrong with the term business accounts. You're just looking for unnecessary change for the sake of it.

Business Accounts at least we know the true owner connecting with a Personal Account so it's easier to contact them.

Not really. Every post has an IP associated to it. Any interaction on site will have an IP that can link to another member. If they're using a proxy, with your current logic of taking care of 'scams', ban both of them.

Some business accounts are currently used by two people, how would you know who scammed now? What's the difference.
