Greetings,
I am a young business investor studying real estate and other areas of business investing in general, having that said, I have a lot of information regarding deals that I would like to share with you here on MCM.
First and foremost, a lot of this is in my humble opinion, so please do not take it as fact but rather what I see as a good way to handle things.
Business Relationship
One of the most important parts of any deal is the relationship. A good relationship will make things go smoother, but most likely make future deals with this user more pleasant and perhaps cheaper.
There are many ways here an MCM user can build a relationship. Even $1 can build a good relationship with a user. Buy their product, leave a positive reputation.. That's huge and that person now has a lot more respect for you.
Vouch for users you have dealt with in the past when an opportunity presents itself.
Refer customers to other users, this increases the chance people will also refer customers back to you for your services.
Your Profile
Your profile is huge in just about any business deal. Many people don't seem to understand this incredibly important fact, but you need to be careful with your signature and your avatar because that is what people will see the most and it gives impressions.
If you saw an ice cream truck with big scary monsters on the side and then another ice cream truck with pictures of ice cream, which would you choose? In most cases, the scary monster wouldn't be picked.
Present yourself as best as possible, your posts are important, your wall is important, the way you chat is important. Be a person people can respect before even dealing with you.
"Eye Catching" Advertising
Back when minecraft account selling as an easy task I handled over 50 minecraft accounts and came out to $600 profit. I tried many different methods of advertising my content, here is one of the best ways I found.
Rather than just presenting your content, go a little farther and make an effort.
When I sold minecraft accounts, my signature would hold the link directly to the thread page, and both the signature and the thread would contain an image for the account I sold:
Being as it is more appealing to customers this way, my accounts sold very quickly, and I had customers coming back to me for my semi-og accounts privately every day.
Flashy banners and the content you see in the everyday MCM avatar are NOT Eye catching! Anything normal, or extremely common is often over looked. Something that truly stands out is something unique, make it simple, yet make it something a potential customer would look at twice..!
Which is more appealing?

The whole idea is to appeal to your customer, not force something on them like so many try.
Making a Deal
Deals are so so important. This is where you save money or you lose money.
Before you ever make a deal, small or big, first know your client.
For each deal I make, I research the user and look at past deals. Past deals are extremely enlightening. You can see whether the user is "weak" or "strong".
A weak user is someone more willing to give into an asking price.
A strong user is someone who is firm with their decisions and doesn't sway easily.
Understanding your client is absolutely the most important thing and I'll give some examples of why.
A user approached me and wanted to by an account I had listed at $15 for $12. I did some research on the user and found that he actually had money to spend, but like all of us, would much rather pay less than the full price - It's how a good deal is created. The other thing I noticed about this user is that he usually got the item he placed an offer for and often times, would increase his offer to get what he wanted.
Knowing that about the said user, I was able to use this to my benefit! Once someone knows you don't play around, neither do they. I raised my asking price from $15 to $16 and refused any less. There were some talks back and forth, but in the end he ended up paying the $16. If I had given in to the $12, that's $3 I would have lost, but making a smart deal gained me an additional $1 of what I had wanted in the first place.
Give back
Often times you'll see a person who needs $3 or $5. if you have the money, on occasion I would recommend helping that user. Here is why..
When you help others you gain reputation, your profile wall gets more vouches and you become more attractive to customers. Generally speaking, before making a purchase most people will view your profile and look at your reputation. If you have a reputation for giving, less people will consider the possibility you might scam them.
There is so much that goes behind business, but once you give it a go and actually try to present your product differently, things become much easier and effort will pay off.
