Forage is one of the best and most unique Minecraft servers with many improvements for performance and gameplay experience. Our multi-bungee system and multi-lobby and multi-game instance systems allow for smooth performance, while our custom texture makes for a memorable gaming experience. All of this gives Forage a unique advantage over the competition and makes it one of the best servers on the platform.
It currently offers two different game modes: The Forest and Hunger Games.
There are also countless unique things on the server that enrich the game and keep players' attention for a long time. These include custom models, custom NPCs, cosmetics, net worth competition and many other things. The most important and the only reason why Forage is for sale is the lack of budget for the advertising campaign. For the past year we have been trying to get an advertising campaign budget that would ideally be $8,000 - which would ensure a skyrocketing of Forage and a 100% success rate for Forage.
We've been paying 2 dedicated machines for a year, we have invested too much money and time and unfortunately we can no longer afford it financially. For this reason we have decided to sell Forage. Many people advised us to open Forage without a big advertising budget or even without any budget at all, but based on our previous experience and long term thinking about this decision, we did not want to do that because we think Forage does not deserve that and can not succeed like that.
Forage was not planned at all, from the idea of a small server with Hunger Games we came to one of the most unique servers with a ton of potential. Forage officially began development in June 2021.
Forage has potential simply because it's unique, because almost everything is done with custom models, because it has a story and lots of action. Players never get bored because there are so many things players can do - from hiring NPCs to work for them, to buying a private mine, scraping cosmetics, melting ores, and fighting other players in the arenas and much more. Forage is not focused on Pay2Win - but you can still earn a lot of money.
- Load balancing
Forage is built to run on a multi-bungee system (10 bungee proxies) connected to 2 machines and 2 Redis servers, with everything connected via MySQL, resulting in maximum performance. In tests we ran 5000+ dynamic bots online on the servers with no lag, and the bungee servers were only using 5%-30% of CPU. The load balancer works when entering the forage domain, the system automatically assigns players to the freest bungee proxy.
- Multi-Lobby and Forest Game Lobby
In addition to the multi-bungee system, a multi-lobby system was also developed, which works on a similar principle to load balancing - when the game is entered, the system automatically switches to the freest lobby server, allowing smooth performance. Forest Gamemode is a very demanding server type, and that's why a multi-lobby system was developed - only here everything works differently because it's a Gamemode. One of the main things that make Forage unique is the custom models, custom NPCs and cosmetics that are created by the Texture Pack that you automatically get when you enter the server, i.e. it has nothing to do with client mods. When the player enters the server and looks at what the server offers, he realizes that Forage is actually another, better dimension of the server that sets Forage apart from the competition.

This is an adventure game where the player begins his journey in a beautifully laid out forest with several villages housing NPCs and all other activities. The player is first greeted with a simple tutorial that helps him understand the game's features and complete the basic tasks before embarking on his own adventure. Once the tutorial is finished, the player is summoned to the forest and his adventure really starts.
Players quickly fall in love with the game as they are captivated by the compelling story told through individually modeled NPCs. The story, as well as the missions that each character requires the player to complete, give the player direction and provide endless playtime. Players start with nothing and must be resourceful and find their way to earn coins and gain a high net worth. Survival skills are essential and can gain value by growing crops that can be sold for coins, cutting down trees, mining rare ores and smelting them for emeralds, and many other fun activities. Although each player follows the story individually, they can also be supported by a number of other players. The server offers several exciting features such as a trade and auction house to buy, sell and exchange valuable goods and resources. But these are not the only features, The Forest offers countless comprehensive features that make for a truly magical experience. These features lie in each unique NPC that tells its own story while contributing to the main quest. A woodcutter collects wood, a farmer buys crops and sells tractors, a blacksmith improves your tools, a wizard enchants your valuables, Murat has his own casino with chicken roulette and slot machines as well as a black market, and much more! In addition to all this, the player can buy his own private mine, which he can expand and hire his own workers.
