For example because they need money or they have wasted money on things and they want their money back and then this is a very good deal.I don't think you will be able to get this for only $50-300, as servers with 40+ playerbase make more than that on release day, so there is no reason for people to sell a fully setup server for that cheap after putting time and money into it themselves.

That is not entirely true. I used to have a minecraft server, but only 2 players played on it all the time. I have had promotions etc, but did not help (was good quality server). I would like to buy a server with more players to bring more quality and it is more fun to put in a lot of effort when there are some players. There will also be payouts.Only thing is, with a playerbase of 40+ players, they can constantly bring out updates to rotate things through the buycraft and make $300+ weekly. With 40 players it also makes it good to expand even more and get more players to make even more. It seems you don't understand minecraft servers and you just want to buy a server to start making money off it. If you do that, it will be shown through the quality of the server and it will go dead and players will stop playing.
