Don't recommend buying ETH. Price barely moves. LTC is a good alt coin since its very early still. But BTC is booming right now, buy as much as you can and store it.

LTC is booming more than BTC at the current moment, up 300% in the past week.

Where are you getting this information? Ethereum has had much more drastic changes than LiteCoin. Just look at the weekly, monthly, or yearly charts.
