Hi,

I'm from nanocode, a development company. One of our products is MineSync, a way to bring your forums (and site in general) and your Minecraft server close together. The plugin offers things like syncing of players.

As some XenForo users may know, XenForo 2 is coming out soon. This will, undoubtedly, mean a rewrite for MineSync (just after we finished our MineSync 2 rewrite for XF1). In this rewrite, we plan to create a more comprehensive sync and do more than just sync players, but sync across more data, purchases and connect it to our global network (for things like statistics/analytics and fraud detection for payments).

I know a lot of you currently use Buycraft, which is something like £7.49/mo for their basic plan (approx. £90 or $115 per year).

MineSync currently charges £25 for a lifetime license to use the plugin, with 12 months of support and updates included (renewable yearly, renewal not required to use the plugin).

Just to see some interest, would server owners using XenForo be interested in switching from Buycraft to having all payments and purchases handled through their site, with better integration and targeting for the user? During purchase you'll also be able to do nifty things like target products, possibly based on in-game activity or sales per user for doing something (like winning a mini-game), because the player's account and their data will literally be synced with the forum (and hence the store, as well).

If you'd be interested, what kinds of features would you absolutely require? Features that may or may not be present in Buycraft, ones you use now that you could absolutely not move to this kind of solution without.

Also made a little poll for you to quickly vote. It's not something we've committed to yet, but if there's interest we'd surely be interested in pursuing it.
