I see where this guy is coming from... Not all players buy shit. So $1 a player is reasonable. But nobody sells playerbases for that much because the 1-2 people who do buy shit, buy alot of shit.

I think what he means is active players, not the amount that are on at once, so a server with a '500 playerbase' may have around 2000 active users on at different times, therefore, with ChrisB's rule, a 500 playerbase server would be worth more than $500.

The problem is that your "base offer" is way too frigging unreasonable. Servers also depend on their qualities, not just playerbases.
