The Byte is a prestigious and professional network that emphasizes all areas of Minecraft by working as a team to provide an incredible server, build team, Youtube network, and developer group. Together we produce and will continue to produce extraordinary accomplishments through all of our sub divisions. In total we average around 30 members throughout all teams, and are constantly recycling old to new members in order to sustain a fresh, friendly, and welcoming environment. With quality and professionalism at the top of our interests and priorities, we also take pride in our laid back atmosphere where a group of great people can play the game we all know and love.
Our goals:
We wish to go above and beyond in not only the network, but our staff team that will help complete it. The server is a large portion of our work and with the use of builds, plugins, and concepts, our goal is to make it extremely successful. On a social media perspective, we wish to grow to a point of self promotion. We want to host a fun and welcoming environment for hundreds upon hundreds of players across the world. Contrary to the majority of Minecraft servers, the Byte will take pride in valuing player enjoyment above donations and all other benefits. We will, in fact, have donation ranks, but any sort of profit that is not put into improving the network, will go straight to charities and fundraisers. As suggested by a manager, we will be focusing on helping brain cancer research - as an example.
What we currently have to accomplish these goals:
For advertisement we have connections with people such as Spooner96 (A large streamer on Twitch), ChoochooGaming (Large Youtuber), Champwan (Large Youtuber), and more that we cannot disclose. We are officially affiliated and sponsored by both Podcrash (60k subs on Youtube), and MinecraftFinest (650k subs on Youtube). These examples are simply the tip of the iceberg for our plans on advertising. - our ideas can be revealed upon request.
As for servers, we will be sponsored by Frostbite hosting. Upon startup we will be running 16 GB of Ram on a top notch dedicated server.
The Byte has three projected gamemodes to release; each gamemode is extremely close to having their plugins and builds completed.

Our network is in search of highly skilled staff members who have the ability and knowledge to run a server of this standard. We cannot stress enough that experience and skill is of high interest and value. Developer (Positions: ∞)
As you can imagine, this position is extremely important in networks like this. Considering the server will be completely custom coded, it's important that this position is properly fulfilled. This position will work with our group of programmers to produce some awesome content for hundreds of players to enjoy. Cooperation is essential, and important on this team. We are all looking to have a great time conjuring up plugins as a collaborative effort. Although it isn't required, we will often find ourselves hopping in calls and completing plugins together as a team. We hope that all applicants are efficient in Java (Of course) and are familiar with SQL, proxy, and other complicated work.

Build Team Manager (Positions: 2)
This position will look after our ever growing and prestigious build team. As a manager you will work your way up with power considering the magnitude of responsibility. Our team is currently at around 16 members and we wish to increase that amount with your presence. It will be your duty to manage our daily build sessions, weekly tasks, questions, build server problems, recruiting new members, projects, new projects, removal of members, our PMC uploads, and lastly activity. As you will be watching our teams activity, it's also extremely important that the person in this position is not only a decent builder, but also active.

Back-end Website Developer (Positions: 2)
As the name suggests, we are in search of a developer who is efficient in back-end website languages, and knows how to properly use them in a way that we can build upon. We currently have a web designer, but at his request, we are looking for someone who can help out with things such as SQL implementation and other great things like that.

Cinematic Production Creator (Positions: 2-∞)
This position will go hand and hand with our build team, and more specifically our build team managers. The duty of this job is to create extraordinary cinematic pictures and videos for our PMC uploads, twitter, and Youtube. We will often have build offs, builds that require spotlights, timelapses, and other videos/pictures that need to be done with quality and mods such as shaders/other supportive tools.

General Administrator (Positions: 3)
A general admin will be used as an adviser for all managers on the Byte; your job is to assist our random jobs that may need to be fulfilled at any given time. Its important that admins are active for the assistance of all Byte members, despite their position. We like our admins to be creative and ready to take the Byte seriously. It is also important that you are friendly, and willing to collaborate with others, especially over Skype calls and Teamspeak. We may ask you to: Broadcast on our Twitch, create plans for improvement, search for bugs and flaws in our systems, mentor staff members, etc, etc.

Event Coordinator and Manager (Positions: 1)
This position will be asked to produce events, ideas, and concepts that will increase the player traffic, and their enjoyment on our network. This job will utilize our developers, build team, social media, etc, to accomplish interesting events for our community to benefit from. The sky is the limit with this position and we welcome creativity and management skills. You must be reasonably active and interested in improving the server in whole, as it is a significant aspect of this role. Some examples of events could be: Pvp tournaments, build offs, giveaways, parties, etc. You will work directly with the owner.
