What is Caliburn?
Caliburn HCF is a project that has been in the works since June 2017. Caliburn aims to focus on the development of the server and provide the most flawless playing experience in the HCF community. Rather than attempting to redesign the game mode, we have plans to continue the classic and popular platform but improve every aspect of its performance and playing experience.

Meet the Team
Caliburn HCF is a project ran by Adam (@Ominvion) and Matt (@hm04_), two game operation veterans. Adam works during the day as an enterprise Java and distributed systems contractor for the US government, while Matt works as a full-stack web developer for a large human resource solutions company. Our owners have been working in this field for quite some time.

Past owner projects:
- LuckyPrison - Once the largest OP Prison server.
- PrevailPots - Original owner and founder. First practice server that brought real HCF scenarios into the arena.
- FunkyFactions - Now gone, it was one of the oldest factions servers. It was an original sponsor of the Factions project by MassiveCraft.
- BattleCraft - A once-noteworthy Factions server.


What are we looking for?
We are looking for individuals who are willing to dedicate their time and effort to something bigger than themselves. However, our administration team is full so we are only looking for people willing to moderate on our network. You will be put under wherever we fill as if you would fit best!

On Saturday and Sunday, i will be able to devote around 8 hrs per day. Depends on what im doing that day

Any past experiences being a staff member:
The Archon
I was staff on The Archon for around 4 months before resigning. I applied very late 2015 and was accepted early 2016, it took around 4 months to get a reply on my application and then to go
through the training process. The Archon was very strict with bans and mutes and I had to log every ban and to always have proof. It's where I really understood why every ban needed proof. I
personally mostly controlled chat to keep it clean, I only resigned as I had a love for HCF, I played too much and couldn't put in the hours for Archon so I ended up resigning to open a spot
for someone else that could be more active then I was.

SchoolMC
This was a server owned by Little Lizard Gaming, It was a prison server that had around 2k players on at times, the server had a really little staff team as they didn't really allow players to
apply, I was in very good terms with the managers and they allowed me to do an interview and luckily enough I was accepted. Our staff team consisted of 2 admins, a manager, and 2 mods, I was one
of the mods. Mostly again what i did was help players and control chat, there i learned how to aid mass amounts of people.

Valux
This is a practice server that currently gets around 200 people on at times. I was staff when the servers name was Yofou and Voltix, At the time i played the server, it was only a little hcf
server at the time but then had a revamp and got the name "Voltix" The server got more then it gets not, it had around 1k players on at times. From there I learned how to screenshare and find
multiple clients. I was demoted as the server had another revamp to Vaulx and they got a new owner which was the youtuber iSparkton. At the time i decided to resign.

I was staff on other little servers if you would like to hear about them just msg me.

Why do you want to be staff at CaliburnHCF?: I see "CaliburnHCF" as a new community that needs help. I think that i have the experience that will benefit the server. I haven't been in the staff scene lately in Minecraft for a bit of time. I have been looking to get back into it with a new community.

Why should we accept you as staff?: I have alot of experience in the community and know what to do and what not to do. I also have a screenshare guide if the server needed one that could detect a good range of the clients. I know how to screenshare to find alot of the "meta" clients, I also will be able to be in support channels for the whole time that im online, helping people. As i see alot of staff on servers who. Want staff for power and the tags. They dont help the people, im one of the people who want staff to help.
Additional Information: I will be able to be on at all the different timezones "Rush Hours" If it means i have to stay up or wake up early to play. I also will be able to get on during school hours. I may have already stated this but i will be able to make a screenshare guide for the server.

Any past experiences in being a staff member: »

A former staff member on POTSHQ. POTSHQ was a well-known HCF server. I was staff on map 1 and the revamp map 2.0. I resigned due to family and social issues. This is where I learned most of my staff tools. I gave thanks to the entire administration team on POTSHQ all they have done before retiring.




Why do you want to become staff?: »


(*) Player Experience: All staff members play a role in the player experience, being a staff member your job is to help them and punish the rule breakers, doing this makes the player experience easier and more enjoyable if they don't have to fight the hackers that cannot be killed.

(*) Motivation: I have drives and motivation every day, always wanting to learn something new and experience something new. What motivates me to join communities and help out is not for the famous perks nor for the power. Its truly for the lack of great servers out there. I want to know that I helped this server reach its full potential. I mainly want to be staff to help out communities and to purse my goal in the staffing area.


(*) Improvement: There is always room for improvements, with the network. I have always thought about mistakes that could happen in the near future. I can improve this mistakes from happening by making a staff guide line. Talking about maturity, bans, and other staff-guided things. I can insure that I am mature and respectful if no other staff members are.

Time Management »

I will put time into your network and can put more into it if chosen to become staff for the Network. I truly believe in being respectful, everyone deserves to be treated the same without any type of rudeness or singling someone out because they are not ranked or because they are different in any way.


Dedication »

You need to dedicate time and effort into the network and I believe in this 100%... I always dedicate time to things that I rarely enjoy doing. It’s just my personality. I dedicate time to but not as much...



Respect & Maturity »

I Feel that everyone should be respected the same. If they don’t donate its ok, or if they are a staff member. Just because you have a rank does not mean you have to ignore players all the time. I can help in Teamspeak using kind words when helping on Teamspeak or Ingame. I have major respect my higher-ups and seniors.



Team Work / Team Effort »

Being Staff or Managing a server always takes everyone to make a difference. Being staff on servers takes everyone to be responsible for what they do and everyone is here to make the server a better place. I feel I can bring some good tips and tricks to the team to make it better than what it is. Everyone needs to contribute to making it a team. I am hoping to get the chance to make the team stronger than before. Every staff member plays a role in the team and they all need to work as a team to get the job done.


Being Professional »

Being professional when being staff is a massive thing. For example, when screen sharing a player if you are not being mature they might get mad at you. Since you might be wasting that players time if they are not using a Hacked Client or Banned Modification/Blacklisted. You must be mature and respectful letting them take their time.
