What is Caliburn?
Caliburn HCF is a project that has been in the works since June 2017. Caliburn aims to focus on the development of the server and provide the most flawless playing experience in the HCF community. Rather than attempting to redesign the game mode, we have plans to continue the classic and popular platform but improve every aspect of its performance and playing experience.

Meet the Team
Caliburn HCF is a project ran by Adam (@Ominvion) and Matt (@hm04_), two game operation veterans. Adam works during the day as an enterprise Java and distributed systems contractor for the US government, while Matt works as a full-stack web developer for a large human resource solutions company. Our owners have been working in this field for quite some time.

Past owner projects:
- LuckyPrison - Once the largest OP Prison server.
- PrevailPots - Original owner and founder. First practice server that brought real HCF scenarios into the arena.
- FunkyFactions - Now gone, it was one of the oldest factions servers. It was an original sponsor of the Factions project by MassiveCraft.
- BattleCraft - A once-noteworthy Factions server.


What are we looking for?
We are looking for individuals who are willing to dedicate their time and effort to something bigger than themselves. However, our administration team is full so we are only looking for people willing to moderate on our network. You will be put under wherever we fill as if you would fit best!

Monday: Free most of the day with very few exceptions.

Thursday: (11:30AM - 3:00PM) ~ (10:30PM - 5:00AM)

Friday: (10:00AM - 3:00PM) ~ (11:30PM - 4:30AM)

Saturday: (9:30AM - 4:00PM) ~ (11:30PM - 6:00AM)

Sunday: (9:30AM - 2:00PM) ~ (10:30PM - 10:00AM)

(This can change on various weeks[Not Often] although I can guarantee at least 2-4 hours on any given day. More or less as needed)


Any past experiences being a staff member:
I have worked as the Skype Manager on Lucky Prison. This has been my most time-consuming role, but I have references (Adam) if needed. I also worked under GMX chalupa as a Chat Moderator and Moderator on Lucky Prison. Then went on to work under Sir Jaymie, Ecaptain, and Rex as Chat Moderator, Moderator, and Admin in their time on Lucky Prison. I was never fired but resigned both times on this server due to lack of work getting done and my priority in Eden. I have also worked/Beta tested for Curspex factions. I worked directly under ECaptain on Battlecraft when he was the Staff Manager. Not including learned a lot from previous staff who worked on/for Funky Factions.
I worked for a smaller server (10-60 players on a normal) known as FTMC, and through my problem-solving skills was granted the role of Head-Moderator. I took that role as a job in itself and was soon promoted to Admin and then Head Admin after a short period of time. After about a year the owner was going through some issues and me and my partner (By choice) Merku were granted the position of Owner. We brought the dying server back from (1-2 players pinging a day) to 28 (during the prime hours) it doesn’t sound like a huge accomplishment, but to us, it was the world. The owner had a huge problem with pissing off the community and we slowly rebuilt it from the ground up. Unfortunately, when he came back he took on a three-way ownership role with us and that lead to bigger issues than before so we ended the project. The servers life-span was over 5 years, so it was bound to completely crash before long.

On top of all these other roles I have had, I played minor roles on other servers that didn’t really impact much such as Helper, Chat Moderator, and Admin on Pixelmon, Skyblock, and Towny servers. I didn’t really do all too much with these projects due to me learning how to be a staff member and how to conduct myself. I can only ask you give me an opportunity to help this community prosper in the near future.



Why do you want to be staff at CaliburnHCF?: I have worked with Adam for a while now and would love one more chance to meet and make friends in a community of his. While also making it grow bigger and better along the way.


Why should we accept you as staff?: I feel as if I have the knowledge and background to be able to help the team. I won't say I will be your best option but would like to let you see first hand what I can do.

Any past experiences being a staff member: I have been staff on many servers mostly HCF servers. I was staff on velt but resigned due to stress i am now a Translator. I have been staff on many small time servers as well such as HCPots, HCNations, HCClans, DragonHCF And i have been about Platform admin on almost all of those servers so i work best under management positions
Why do you want to be staff at CaliburnHCF?: Well i am honestly looking for a place to dedicate all my extra time and experience. I left Velt because of stress (mostly Family) but most of that having been cleared up i feel that i am ready to commit myself and my experience to another server.
Why should we accept you as staff?: I feel like you should accept me because i am a very straight forward and strict person. I like everything to be according to plan and i like to see everyone having fun and if they are not i will be sure to accommodate the server for the community's needs.
Additional Information: I Am a freshmen in High School. I am in ROTC and i am currently a a Commander or Commanding officer for my School. I am very good at commanding people around but i also understand my place in the real world and in servers i work for. Any past experiences being a staff member:
PracZone
I was a senior admin on this server. I did many things on this server such as: helping with plugin ideas, buying the server plugins, Moderating the server, helping players, screen sharing players, and testing different aspects on this server. This server has recently shut down.

Driftz
This is a practice server in the making. The server hasn't released yet, and I haven't' done much on it yet as I am only a mod.

Naruto Adventures
I know, the first thing that may come to your mind is what is that, or just why. In my opinion, it is still worth mentioning. I worked on this server for about 6 months, started out as a builder, then became a mod. I learned how to a lot on this server like working with PermissionsEX, and how to be a overall good staff member.

Owned Kitpvp and Faction servers
I thought that I should might as well mention this, but I owned 2 servers. One was a kitpvp server, and one was a factions server. They both had an average of about 8 players a day, but I did this only for fun, so I shut down the servers eventually.

Bowlcraft
This was a server during 1.5.2, and the beggining of 1.6. I was helper on this server and did things such as helping players out, and show people around. It was a pretty small factions server so it shut down in the end.

Why do you want to be staff at CaliburnHCF?:
The main reason I want to become staff on CaliburnHCF is for the experience. I have been playing HCF for about 2 years now, and have always loved the gamemode. The problem I found with a lot of servers though is the fact that most players cheat. Cheating has been a problem in minecraft for a very long time now, and I also used to cheat. I want to become staff on CaliburnHCF to make it a fun, and exciting place for players who would like to play legit. I also want to become staff because I find being staff fun. I like being staff as it gives me an opportunity to help other people, and catch cheaters. I would also want to become staff to become more involved with community. I love become involved in big communities, and would be looking forward to being involved in this one.

Why should we accept you as staff?:
There are many reasons why you should accept me as staff:

Screensharing
I know the basics to screensharing so teaching me to be more advanced with screen sharing won't be difficult at all. The thing is though, I have lifetime code66. If you do not know what code66 is, it's a SS that can detect almost all of the known clients, and some of the private ones. Currently, it can also detect vape lite. I could be a huge asset to eliminating cheaters on the server.

Hard worker
In my opinion, I am a hard worker. I am willing to do anything to improve the server, and to improve the servers community. I am willing to try my hardest, and persevere, to make the server a better place for all the players.

Flexibility
I am flexible. I can get adjusted to any environment very quickly. In my opinion, I am a very fast learner and can adjust to the server as I need to. If the server needs me to build, I can do that and such.

Responsible and Trustworthy
I am responsible, and trustworthy. I will never lie to anyone, or anything. I will always get the job done, in time, and to the hardest of my ability. I will always take responsibility for my mistakes, and will never lie about any of my mistakes.

Building
I have lots of experience with building and can build if the server needs me to. I will always prefer to build with other people though as it can help cover my weaknesses as a builder. This is an example of one of my builds, I built this one on my own.

Java
I know a little java, enough to make really simple plugins. I'm not sure if that could be of any use to the server, but its there.

Hi, my name is Haroon. I am 14 years old and I am a Freshmen is high school. I have been playing minecraft for about 4 years now, and I would now call it a passion of mine. I love moderating HCF servers as I love screen sharing people. As I am a freshmen, I have a lot of free time that I can put to the server.
