Calling people autistic

Hi. I think that people should be warned and then temp-banned for calling people autistic. Autism is a serious problem and calling people autistic is not insulting the person whom you are arguing with, but all the unfortunate actually autistic people. You don't say 'Wow you're such an idiot. Have you got cancer?' I know it happens all over the world but I think this will make MCM a more enjoyable place for everyone.

People say worse things, especially in the community of today people are a lot more looser with toleration of what offences are thrown out there. Just brush it off man, they are just more socially awkward then most of us and they lash out for some reaction or are just very stupid in some departments.

I'm gonna have too agree. With Magnemite what if someone is actually autistic? This might even be considered a hate crime and is considered disorderly conduct.

i won't name any names but certain members of this forum actually do suffer from autism so for that reason i kind of agree with magnet because it might be offensive towards them to use autist as an insult.

i think maybe if those people weigh in on the subject that should be the determining factor ^_^

This is disrespecting a user, if the user does not want to be called that, then do not say the word. This would go under "disrespect", it'd run under the same category of disrespect.
