Can anyone match this price for MC Hosting

Hey there, so I am currently very unhappy with my existing host, Clynex, due to various issues preventing me from accessing the panel on most days, alongside giving a very small window of time to back up data after shutting a host machine down, and so I am looking for an alternative. Is anyone able to match the price? Currently have an 8GB server for $2.40 per month.

If a host gives you that price (except for maybe the first month), you should know that it will be horrible...

I’m not sure what kind of server you’re hosting, but it might be worth assessing whether you need 8GB of RAM. If your server peaks at 20-30 players and doesn’t have a huge amount of resource intensive plugins, 2GB probably would be just fine. You could get a 2GB server from a decent host for around $3/m. I honestly can’t see a host making any money out of selling an 8GB server for $2.40 a month, without seriously overselling very outdated hardware.

I've never heard of pricing like that - that's completely absurd. Expect terrible results and service when you go that low.

Yeah the sweet spot for hosts is to try to get to around $1-2/GB. Best we over at Slashy Hosting can do is $12/Mo for 8GB

Are you sure 2GB wouldn't be too little for a 1.15 SMP? Mine has regularly hit 3gb. I'm not suggesting i needed 8gb ram, I got it because of the killer price.
