This is an odd request but can someone help me turn my "WD MyCloud Mirror" 4tb into a Minecraft server/VPS?
Any advice/help is appreciated!

All this is basically...

A case containing 2x4TB HDDs connected to a Ethernet interface. No CPU and no RAM.

You COULD attach this via the ethernet to a working computer/server then use this as the directly attached storage. But on it own it will do NOTHING.
Thanks, but I beg to differ about it not having CPU or any RAM...

That's like taking a hard drive and trying to run a video game on it without connecting it to a CPU, some RAM, and a couple graphics cards. It's not possible.

A server (while potentially capable to be hosted at home) should not be run on residential internet.[DOUBLEPOST=1491433921][/DOUBLEPOST]And also, just because it *has* a CPU doesn't mean it's capable of running a server. It's most probably an atom CPU or one of the sorts (typically found on cloud drives).

Based on the link you supplied there isn't any computing power included.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Compatible with Windows® 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Mac OS® X El Capitan, Yosemite, Mavericks or Mountain Lion operating systems.

wd-my-cloud-mirror-personal-cloud-storage-product-dimensions.png.imgw.1000.1000.jpg

Capacity

4TB, 6TB, 8TB, 16TB

Interface

Gigabit Ethernet

Package Includes

  • My Cloud Mirror Device
  • Ethernet Cable
  • AC Adapter
  • Quick Install Guide

Even if there were CPU and RAM it would be VERY MINIMAL as NAS storage barely need computing power to deal with such needs.

Why don't you just see if you can take out the hard drive(s) and then connect those via sata (directly to your motherboard)
