So I have this Acer PC I got for my birthday and I was wondering if I could run the GTX 1050ti on it.

Specs
i5 4440
Integrated graphics
10 gb of ram 3 sticks (I know its weird)
1 TB HDD
2 Fans (one is the intel heatsink)

On the PSU it says the max is 300 watts, the website for GTX 1050ti says 300 watts is enough but I want opinions on it. If I can't run it should I be able to run the GTX 750ti? And I am talking about the one that does need external power. (Plug and play).

Other notes: I cannot change my PSU, I have tried it before to upgrade a GPU but unfortunately my motherboard is custom made from Acer meaning that it does not have the regular 24 pin, it's a 16 one for some odd reason.

Well, technically, yes - but you'll be missing out on a lot of performance that the GTX 1050ti offers.
I got a GTX 1050ti, put it in and the computer wouldn't even boot up. I don't get it, I have the minimum specs, my PSU max is 300 w load, and the GPU minimum is 300w and consumes 75 watts.

just get the 1050ti 970 power hungry old hardware its about same as 1050ti anyways[DOUBLEPOST=1512944110][/DOUBLEPOST]
Nope, just the regular one beep when my computer starts up. All the fans are rolling, my mouse and keyboard light up. only the screen doesn't.
that might not be your graphics card just fair warning on that.

it might be your power supply, it basically could be that your power supply isnt strong enough to support it[DOUBLEPOST=1512944824][/DOUBLEPOST]Bsaically i see it takes 300W to power your GPU, however you other components take some as well, I would suggest a higher supply

Your GPU isn't the only thing in your PC that consumes wattage. Your CPU and fans are also significant power consumers.
it's usually best to use something like this:https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ for testing how much power consumption your PC has in total.[DOUBLEPOST=1512948439][/DOUBLEPOST]Edit: made a very rough approximation of your build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3rjwTH
as you can see, it's already nearing 300 watt without being fully complete yet.
I would suggest something like this: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/HvTmP6/evga-power-supply-100w10430kr
As a power supply. Since you're not gonna do anything super-intense, bronze-certified is plenty. If you were gonna do overclocking or other fancy things with your PC, I'd recommend silver or gold certified.
