Voqoo It was a friends account I used back then, and he changed his name multiple times. I'd have to ask him, as we haven't talked in a long time. I miss those days man. Nothing will ever beat those 2013-14 servers. So many amazing communities are long gone sadly.
Those were the days.. Any players/staff you remember?

As long as you've got items in the store that appeal to players, I don't see why it couldn't survive, if you were dedicated enough.

I am thinking of starting a KitPvP server with ranks and kits from an old server called "BeefPvP" (if anyone remembers it please let me know). I now realise it was based heavily on P2W. But that got me thinking.

How can non-P2W servers survive?
Minecraft serves as a whole are slowly dying because of the lack of content and death of a lot of youtubers. Minecraft will never die as a whole but a lot of people are investing in new minecraft servers and unless it's a unique concept or they have a decent advertisement budget I don't think they will make it past 100 players before they die. If normal servers are dying, P2W servers will only die sooner but with that said, if the P2W servers actually make a lot of money and have a decent player-base then I'm sure they will just put that money back into advertisement and will just continue to live until Minecraft dies again (a couple of months from now seems about right)

Holy shit. I remember all of them. I just had a giant nostalgia flashback.
LOOOL Zankara is my best mate irl. I made an intro for xTheCandyPvP and Hale. Do you remember w00kie?[DOUBLEPOST=1601230213][/DOUBLEPOST]
I doubt there's a single non-p2w server anymore.
The big networks aren't p2w as they are easily detected by Mojang
